This role requires strategic management skills.
You will need to be an excellent team player, and a good manger at the same time. Initially, there must be a creative edge to the ideas - as funders tend to fund the most innovative projects and programmes.

Once an idea is born, you will be expected to develop the concept through a number of phases until it becomes a complete, fully-funded project.

Delegating, structuring and clear communication is crucial in this role.
